Early race favourite Guest of Honour placed second in his last run, at Kempton in February, where he was 10/11 favourite. His last win came in December last year and trainer Marco Botti will hope that his horse can get back to winning ways on Saturday. The horse that has been favourite has only won the race twice in the last eight editions.
Grey Mirage placed second in his last outing, at Linglfield, in the four year-old gelding’s only start so far this year. Strictly Silver, who placed second in his last race behind Robin Hoods Bay at Lingfield, has only won two of his eleven starts, but presents an interesting each-way option.
Last year’s winner, Nazreef, also placed second over seven furlongs in his last race in February. His last race win came at the end of 2012.
The going at Wolverhampton Racecourse will be Standard come Saturday. The race takes place on Saturday at 15:55 CET/ 09:55 EST.
